Established in 1998 Pearce Bentley Security Services have been protecting and securing a number of various premises within the commercial, retail and industrial sectors throughout Cumbria and the South Lakes area.

At Pearce Bentley we pride ourselves in the personal service we provide to our customers. We are continuing to develop and expand our services, strengthening our presence within the security industry.

Tony Pearce - Operations Manager

Joined the Lancashire Constabulary in 1972 which then amalgamated with the Greater Manchester police force, Tony moved on to work with police traffic units and after several years with the police force he left to join the security industry in the Manchester area.

He then went on to establish Pearce Bentley Security Services in 1998 to serve the South Cumbria area.

As a result of the Private Security Industry Act in 2001, Tony set up a training school within Pearce Bentley Security Services, bringing training throughout the whole of England and into Scotland.

Pearce Bentley is currently expanding their training centres and subjects offered, including new offices and training rooms. We have now become the largest and most successful security training service within south Cumbria.

At Pearce Bentley we operate a rigorous selection procedure for all our personnel; we select, interview and train our staff to the very highest standards. We also insist they are alert, responsible and decisive, fully uniformed and of the smartest appearance.

Pearce Bentley has both male and female fully trained and licensed security officers.

Along with our fully manned control room operating 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week, we are successful in achieving our key objectives of removing the worry and pressure of security and training from our customers, giving them peace of mind 24 hours a day.
